COLONIALISM: the policy or practice of acquiring full or partial political control over another country, occupying it with settlers, and exploiting it economically.

1. Review: "White Man's Burden"

2. MAPS study- Schoology.

• Select five of the posted questions from Monday.  
• Ask the same 5 questions of each map- pre-colonialism/post-colonialism
• Report your ideas back to Schoology.

Maps reveal a lot of information if you know what to look for!

3. WATCH: Imperialism in Africa
