1. In small groups, you will work on the following discussion questions WITH EVIDENCE from the text. Direct quotes will be needed. Your answers do not need to be in paragraphs, but evidence and ideas that you are going to be ready to discuss in a Socratic seminar next week.

2. Add to your list of questions: What are the effects of Colonialism on the region? How does it become a part of the culture of the Igbo people? What kinds of power accompany Colonialism as seen in TFA. In your response, you may also reference the documentary, films, and literary text.

- Wednesday/Thursday, April 3rd/4th: Socratic Seminar over Things Fall Apart Parts 1 and 2.
- Friday, April 5th: Finish the book.
- Monday, April 8th: Quiz over entire book.
