Create an Iliad Photo Library
Develop a digital photo library showcasing powerful or exciting scenes from the Iliad. For each work you find, keep track of the title, the artist (if known), the approximate year it was created, and the museum in which it is exhibited. You will need to include the quote/passage from The iliad that is represented in your image.
Once you have gathered all of your images, assemble them into a visual presentation using Google Slides.
You will need the following:
1. Title slide
2. 8 important scenes with textual quotes (cited) and coinciding images slides.
3. Reflection slide.
Resources
Use reference books and the Web sites in your Resource Bank to complete this activity.
As you browse through the sites in the Resource Bank, consider collecting the images you want to use in a file on your computer.
Wrap-up
On your last slide, post a reflection of what you understand more about The Iliad from doing this project.
Post your Iliad gallery to Google Classroom.

Make Tufts University?s Perseus Digital Library one of your first research stops on your image search. Choose the vase, sculpture, or coin gallery, and then search by keyword.

Welcome to the University of Oxford's extensive Beazley Archive, an online research database of ancient Greek pottery and sculpture. Look for images in the "Dictionary" section, which features illustrations and entries for many of the players in Homer?s Iliad.
